Description

Dean and Dan Caten, the twins of Willowdale in Toronto, studied at the Parson of Design fashion school in New York in 1984. Eight years later, they moved to Italy and created their brand there. After collaborating with some famous Italian brands, the twins presented their first menswear collection under the name Dsquared2. This parade caught the attention of journalists around the world. Dsquared2's philosophy is an edgy mix of Canadian iconography and fine Italian tailoring with a touch of sensuality. Dean and Dan Caten divide their lives between Milan and London, and the Dsquared2 collections are produced strictly in Italy, giving rise to the brand's motto of "Born in Canada, Living in London and Made in Italy".
